Piña Colada, the national drink of Puerto Rico since 1978 and enjoyed on beaches and sunbeds around the world. A complimentary blend of rum, coconut and pineapple combine beautifully. Served in a Poco Grande glass (also known as a hurricane glass) and garnished with fresh pineapple and a cocktail cherry, this drink really is a summer classic.

What you need to make the Piña Colada

For the drink
  • 30 ml white rum
  • 30 ml coconut milk
  • 90 ml pineapple juice
  • Crushed ice
For the garnish
  • Pineapple slice
  • Cocktail cherry

How to make

  1. Add crushed ice, white rum, coconut milk and pineapple juice to a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour into a Poco Grande glass and garnish with a cocktail cherry and a slice of pineapple.
