The Paradise is an apéritif, or pre-dinner drink, dating back to the 1930s. The cocktail is a blend of gin, apricot brandy or apricot liqueur and orange juice, although there are other variations which include adding a splash of lemon juice.
What you need to make the Paradise
For the drink
- 35 ml gin
- 20 ml apricot brandy (or apricot liqueur)
- 15 ml orange juice
- Ice cubes
How to make
- Add ice to a cocktail shaker and pour in the gin, brandy and orange juice.
- Shake well and strain into a cocktail glass.
