The majority of the Champagne Cocktail unsurprisingly consists of Champagne, but has been combined with a touch of cognac, dashes of Angostura bitters and a sugar cube. The drink is served in a Champagne flute and garnished with a maraschino cherry and a slice of orange.

How to make

  1. Place sugar cube into a Champagne flute and add a couple of dashes of bitters.
  2. Add the cognac, then pour over chilled Champagne
  3. Garnish with a slice of orange and a cocktail cherry.
