The Bloody Mary is a very well known cocktail and is unique in many ways. The drink takes on an array of savoury flavours, containing Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce, celery salt and pepper. Combined with vodka, tomato juice and lemon juice, it’s no wonder it has been called “the world’s most complex cocktail”!
What you need to make the Bloody Mary
For the drink
- 45 ml vodka
- 90 ml tomato juice
- 15 ml lemon juice
- 2–3 dashes Worcestershire sauce
- Tabasco
- Celery salt
- Pepper
- Cracked ice
For the garnish
- Celery stalk
- Lemon wedge
How to make
- Add the Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, salt and pepper to a highball glass.
- Pour in the vodka, tomato and lemon juice and add ice cubes.
- Gently stir and add the celery stalk and lemon wedge to serve.
